Do I need a 1:1 appointment first?

Before joining any of our in-person group or livestreamed online Pilates classes, we strongly recommend a 1:1 appointment first if you’re recovering from injury or surgery, returning to exercise after a break or if you are completely new to Pilates. This helps ensure you feel safe, confident and supported from the start.

In a 1:1 appointment, your instructor will ask you about your medical history and what you want to achieve. They’ll complete an assessment of your flexibility, strength and balance and teach you some of the key elements of pilates practice like alignment and breathing.

We aim to get you moving as quickly as possible while building your confidence, so you can safely join any of our in-person group or livestreamed online classes and get the most out of your practice. Any exercises you’re taught will also be provided as videos for home practice.

What should I wear and do I need any special equipment?

Whether you’re attending a 1:1 appointment, an in-person group class or a livestreamed online Pilates class, simply wear something comfortable that allows you to move easily. Bare feet or grip socks are perfect.

For in-person group or livestreamed online classes, you’ll need your own Pilates mat. Please get in touch if you’d like advice on choosing the right one.

Can I buy a drop-in pass?

Yes! You can purchase a one-off (PAYG) pass for both our in-person and livestreamed online classes.

Do you offer bundles for in-person group Pilates classes?

Yes! We have a 10-session bundle for our in-person group classes, valid for 16 weeks. This gives you a bit of flexibility if you need to miss a class or two, while also offering better value compared to purchasing individual classes.

Do you offer different passes for livestreamed online classes?

For our livestreamed online Pilates classes, we offer class passes for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months, giving you unlimited access to our full timetable. The longer the pass, the greater the saving!

Can’t make a live class? No problem! Book any class, and we’ll email you the recording, so you can practise whenever it suits you.

Is there parking?

Absolutely! Free parking is available at both of our in-person venues for all clients.

Can I join if I'm pregnant or have just had a baby?

During pregnancy you can continue to attend our group classes until 16 weeks. After that, our group classes aren’t suitable but we can offer 1:1 antenatal sessions in our clinic with Pilates exercises adapted to your stage of pregnancy.

If you have recently given birth, we recommend a postnatal physiotherapy assessment with one of our Women’s Health Physiotherapists before starting any of our Pilates classes. This ensures your body is ready and helps you practise safely.
